Downtown Development Grant
Governor Markell designated Seaford as one of Delaware’s three Downtown Development Districts. With this designation comes access to the Downtown Development District (DDD) Grant program and other incentives to leverage private investment to improve downtown, improve housing stock, and draw new business. Small and large project matching grants may be available for qualifying applicants.

Facade Grant Program
The Seaford Tomorrow Façade Grant Program promotes the maintenance and rehabilitation of central business district properties by providing grants to business and property owners. A façade is defined as one side of a building. Other sides will be considered as long as it incorporates the main theme of the business to be renovated. We encourage aesthetic compatibility for improvements to facades of non- historic structures.
